While we can’t give a specific amount of days between tunes, we recommend looking for signs that you need a tune. These signs include slower skiing, slow turn initiations, no visible base structure, and being unable to hold an edge on your turns.

You should be waxing your skis every 4-6 ski days depending on the snow conditions and wax used. In general, the better the conditions, the less you need to wax. If you’re noticeably skiing slower, it may be time for a wax.
