The Powder House Ski Shop is currently hiring for the 23/24 season!

The Powder House Ski Shop employs approximately 50 seasonal employees in 5 locations every ski season. We have four locations in Alta, UT just a few feet from the Alta ski lifts. Our Salt Lake Valley location, the Wasatch powder House, is located just off I-215 in Cottonwood Heights with easy access to both Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons.

Our shops are open every day of the ski season, including weekends and holidays. The Utah ski season typically runs from late November to mid-April. Applicants who are available to work for the entirety of the season, including weekends and holidays, will be given hiring priority.

Our 5 locations are open daily from 8am to 6pm. Full time staff members work 40 hours per week, typically four 10 hour shifts with three days off. Alta based employees can typically catch a few ski laps during their lunch breaks. Every full time employee is given a Season Pass as part of their compensation. Limited housing is available, please make sure to let us know if you are interested in housing for the winter season.
